The Lilii Loose Fit Pants were created by Cornelia Kauhs, founder of Breath of Fire. Cornelia designed them as a freedom piece — a relaxed silhouette that breathes and adapts to your day. The extra-long double waistband can be worn high for warmth and gentle support around the belly and lower back, or folded low on the hips for a softer, more loungewear feel.

Honest note on practice style

Honestly made — the story behind our Evolve collection

This piece comes from our Evolve collection — and there's a small story behind it. In 2019, when Covid disrupted supply chains, our family atelier in Portugal lost access to certified organic cotton. To keep the brand alive and honour our promise to natural fibres, we found a wonderful partner workshop in Turkey — fully solar-powered, certified, and run with the same ethical care we hold dear. We were genuinely happy to produce there.

Today, we have returned to our original Portuguese family atelier for the rest of our collections. The human warmth, the respect for skilled Portuguese artisans, and the quality we find there is something we have not seen anywhere else in the textile industry — and that's where our heart remains. Since 2009.

Between two sizes? The Lilii has a generous loose cut — the smaller size for a closer fit at the waist, the larger for more drape.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C with similar colours. Air dry flat, no tumble dryer. The bamboo–cotton jersey settles beautifully with each wash.
